Finding an address

Two ways:

• Search by address from the top bar — paste any valid Bitcoin address that's ever held a Counterparty asset.
• Direct URL: /addresses/1AeqgtHedfA2yVXH6GiKLS2JGkfWfgyTC6.

Both plain (legacy) and bech32 addresses are supported. We don't require the address to have any current balance — historical-only addresses (sold out years ago) still show their trade history.

What the page shows

• Display name — if the address is in our attribution registry (known exchange, known artist, project treasury), we surface that label.
• Portfolio summary — total USD value of current Counterparty asset holdings (using our floor-price methodology) and total assets held.
• Holdings table — every asset currently held with quantity, current floor, and computed USD value. Sortable by any column.
• Trade history — recent buys and sells (DEX trades, dispense events, OpenSea sales) involving this address.
• Issued assets — for issuer addresses, the assets they've created.

How holdings value is computed

We compute each asset's contribution as quantity × floor price. The floor price uses the same methodology described in Floor Prices: lowest qualifying value across DEX, dispensers, and OpenSea, with the $10 minimum-order filter applied.

DEX escrow gotcha

Counterparty's DEX places assets in protocol escrow while an order is open. This means an address with an open sell order for 1000 PEPECASH will show 0 PEPECASH in its raw balance — because the 1000 is in escrow, not in the wallet. CounterTools surfaces both the "held" and "escrowed" figures so you can see the full picture.

Watch lists and alerts

If you've connected your wallet (see Wallet Security), you can add addresses to a personal watch list and receive Telegram notifications when they trade. Watch list functionality is gated to verified-ownership wallets to prevent abuse.
